Ask the Expert - How much is too much?
Welcome to the second edition of our NEW Ask the Expert series, where your most pressing skin related questions and problems are solved by our resident experts!
This question is answered by our resident skincare guru, Sarah Burns, glotherapeutics creator and Product Manager. To learn more about Sarah click here.
Q. How often can I get a chemical exfoliation treatment (aka a peel)?
A. The time to wait in between each chemical exfoliation treatment will vary depending on the strength of the peel. A good rule of thumb is to never peel already peeling skin, meaning that if you are still seeing sloughing from your last treatment DON'T go in for another just yet.
Instead book a gentle facial or a treatment involving enzymatic exfoliation to remove the dead skin cells.
More superficial peels may be performed more often than more aggressive ones. Additionally, a series of various treatments may be a better fit to get the results you are wanting. Talk to your skincare professional to customize a proper regimen for you!

glominerals Spring 2009 collection - SNEAK PEEK! - Last but certainly not least!
And finally...the moment you've all been waiting for...
The final sneak peek product of glominerals Spring Collection is....(drum roll please)
gloLip plumpers in TWO NEW SHADES!
If you are a long time lover of these lip plumpers you know and love the goodness already, for those that are new to the glominerals game, this product gives you super pouty supermodel lips while nourishing them!

The formula utilizes spheres of Marine Collagen Atelocollgen, which works with lips natural moisture to swell, giving amped up volume to your pucker. Plus, because of an infusion of safflower oil, lips are left moisturized and soft.
Beware lip wimps...there is a definite tingle to these bad boys. If it's too much for you don't shy away, simply layer a lip balm before the lip plumper to tone down the tingling.
The 2 NEW shades are very cherry (pictured top) and perfect plum (pictured bottom). Very cherry wins my pick for fave new shade...its a sheer, bright red that is perfect for a pretty dose of color - think 50s glam but toned down enough that it's not overkill even for day. Perfect plum is the ideal shade to transition from your darker winter colors into spring. It's a nice, plummy fuschia color but stays just a bit on the sheer side making it springtime chic.
