And the award for Best Laughter goes to...

I watched last night's Oscars with friends curled up on the couch in sweats (all of us looking considerably less glam than the stars walking the red carpet). That is to say, no gowns by Rodarte (like gorgeous Natalie Portman above left - source: http://oscar.go.com or Cartier jewels (bedecked Amy Adams above right - source: http://oscar.go.com/) but according Fitness Magazine, last night's Academy Awards show laughs (Dance of the Brown Duck, anyone?) gave us a healthy (gorgeous) glow! The "Get Gorgeous" article on page 33 of the March 2011 issue says, "A case of the giggles causes blood vessels to relax, boosting blood flow to your skin for up to an hour...This rosy flush is just as radiant as the one produced by 30 minutes of aerobic activity." Fitness Magazine cites Michael Miller, M.D., chief investigator of the University of Maryland School of Medicine study. So we have the Oscars to thank for more than a wonderful celebration of film, inspired beauty and trend-setting makeup (more on that later this week) - the funniest moments also made us more gorgeous and a-glow.

We've only got eyes for you (Eyeliss ingredient spotlight)

Good things come in small packages and glo therapeutics Vital Eye Cream is no exception. This cream packs a potent punch for reducing under eye puffiness. The deeply hydrating cream puts Eyeliss' clinically proven peptide technology to work for your eyes.

How Eyeliss works
The Eyeliss ingredient complex strengthens capillaries and veins and improves lymphatic drainage and drainage of fluids causing puffiness in the under eye area. It also decreases inflammation and improves skin elasticity. Clinical proof is stacking up: Buzzle.com reports one clinical trial's results: "It [Eyeliss] increased lymphatic drainage by an amazing 85%. It also helped improve the capillary permeability by 25%. Studies showed Eyeliss is an elite under-eye ingredient that can treat the causes of eye puffiness."

A dynamic duo
Pairing Eyeliss with great antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients increases its effectiveness at reducing under eye puffiness and circles. We've gotten rave reviews from this treatment ( a favorite of glo minerals makeup artist Aldo Celeste!):
Cleanse and tone skin then apply 7.5% Vitamin C Eye Gel (which has a host of fabulous, cutting-edge ingredients in addition to rock star antioxidant, Vitamin C). Allow it to absorb before applying Vital Eye Cream to the eye area. For extra hydration, apply B5 Hydration before Vital Eye Cream.

Freshen up your eyes and decrease puffiness and under eye circles with Vital Eye Cream and its star ingredient, Eyeliss. Pair it with 7.5% Vitamin C Eye Gel for an extra anti-under eye circle, antioxidant and anti-aging boost!
