Hi Kate! Which holiday trends are you looking forward to the most this year?
Kate: Great question! I always feel like once October hits, the holiday season begins! There have been a lot of great trends walking the runways and the streets lately and my current obsession is vampy lips. I mix some Eye Shadow in eggplant with Lipstick in bordeaux for an extra kick of depth and drama.

Another trend is old Hollywood glam with a bit of a modern twist using golds, peaches and plums on the eyes. Try using the gold from the glam Quad and Eye Shadow in water lilly on the lid with Precision Eye Pencil in plum on the lash line. Add a bronze cheek with and a sheer red lip (I like a swipe of Gloss in poppy for that) to complete the look.

The other trend on the docket is metallic eyes! Whether silver, bronze or gold- the metallic trend is in full swing! While keeping the rest of your look nice and clean, focus on making the eyes pop with gunmetal or smoky metallic bronze. Both the Smoky Eye Kit and the Metallic Smoky Eye Kit can create this look and don’t be afraid to mix your metals! I love a bronze metallic lid with a silver metallic lower lash line! For even more of a punch, match your nails to your eyes!
