Hi Kate! Australia glo lovers are gearing up for our Spring Racing Carnival, which means lots of huge days at the races. We're talking champagne breakfast, a day at the racecourse, parties in the car park, and then dinner. Could you please send your tips for the makeup for such a mega day of having to look perfect from early morning to late night?
Kate: Great Question! This sounds like a lot of fun! For a great look that will last twenty-four hours, I suggest trying something that is in between a day look and a night look. A soft kitten eye would be beautiful! Use wet Eye Shadow in sable or eggplant and do a mini cat eye. Then using a Smudge Brush, lightly blend the liner so it softens. Place Eye Shadow in twinkle or water lily on your lid and diamond on your brow bone. With the Precise Micro Liner in brown, tightly line your lower lash line with a thin line. Load your lashes with Water Resistant Mascara and a pop of apricot Blush in terra cotta on the apples of your cheeks. Then line your lips with your favorite Precision Lip Pencil and top that with Sheer Lipstick and a little Gloss for lips that will last all day!
What is more important? What you have in your bag of course! Keep a pad of Blotting Papers, Mint Balm, and Protecting Powder SPF 30 in translucent in your handbag.
