A great skincare regimen includes a morning and evening routine. We’re going to focus on the evening routine in this series because bedtime is a great time to apply specialized products that treat specific skin concerns. When creating a successful bedtime routine it’s very important to keep in mind three factors:
1) Your Skin Type- Everyone’s skin is unique so your skincare routine should cater to your individual needs. Whether your have sensitive, dry, oily or combination skin, the products you choose should support its specific needs.
2) Your skincare Goals: It’s important to keep in mind your skincare goals when creating a bedtime routine. Are you looking for preventative care? Would you like to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles? Are you interested in targeting sun spots? Take note of your skincare goals and keep them in mind when creating your routine.
3) Consistency is Key- To see the best results it’s crucial to stick to a consistent routine. Experts say that it takes doing something 20 times before it becomes a habit. We encourage you to stick to your nightly routine for at least that long to see to results.
